Russia has deployed more missiles to target shipping to add to the Nuclear capable Iskander systems as well as the S-400 missiles to Kaliningrad which is close to the border with Poland. The Russians have said that this is in response to the NATO deployment of their defensive shield which includes an anti-missile system in Poland. Russia says that the systems deployed in Kaliningrad would render these defenses pointless, Russia feels this is a checkmate against the increased NATO deployment. The move comes soon after NATO exercises by NATO forces near Russias western border, which was part of the continued worrying saber rattling between Russia and NATO. These missile systems not only represent a potential nuclear threat but also allow Russia to disrupt any movements Baltic countries may make in a combat situation to support each other. At the moment the Artic is well above its average temperature for this time of year even though its winter and it's in virtual darkness for the entire time. Degradation of the Arctics has a knock on effect for planets weather systems, it acts a cooling system for the planet by reflecting solar energy back into space as well as cooling the seas and air. As the arctic melts, it creates a runaway warming effect as less Ice means more exposed sea which then absorbs more heat intern melting more ice. The ice will withdraw and release carbon and methane into the atmosphere which accelerates the runaway train of warming, as the arctic is estimated to hold half of the planets below ground carbon store, which is twice the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere at them moment. All companies care about is profit, ignoring the employees, environment and the general society where they are based. They need someone to keep them honest and to remind them they do not operate in a vacuum, a workers representative provide a company with at least a shred of a responsibility. Nigel Farage who after Brexit abandoned the country and decided to meddle in other countries elections instead of developing a way for the UK to Brexit, now further betrays Britain by encouraging Donald Trump to try and undermine the UK by telling the British government who they should appoint as ambassadors and diplomats.
